See the Sun’s lingering embrace of the Land.
Turning leaves golden,
casting long shadows and
filling the sky with a fiery spectacle.
And then so softly disappearing over the horizon.
Taking warmth and colour with him for a time.
Until the Earth, ever spinning, reunites
this Land and her light.
